really good boutique experience
breakfast variety tuk tuk tour
the breakfast buffet presented a wide variety of choices including eggs bacon and sausage. the staff was helpful and arranged a tuk tuk tour that picked us up at the hotel. they also prepared a packed breakfast for our early departure containing bread cheese ham cakes juice and water.
i stayed in a room with parquet flooring and noise from footsteps in adjacent rooms was noticeable. it was difficult to fall asleep i woke up in the middle of the night and early in the morning due to the noise.

the hotel has an on-site restaurant that extends to a kiosk in the praca da alegria. this is a nice spot to end the day and enjoy the evening. the kiosk is open until late for anyone to visit.

the hotel is situated on a small plaza and is near public transport. its proximity to the avenue and metro station makes it convenient. the train station to sintra is also close to the hotel.

the staff demonstrates great professionalism and helpfulness. they promptly responded to email inquiries regarding restaurants reservations and train travel. the staff provided excellent recommendations for both tours and dinner.

convenient location metro station nespresso machine staff rooms noisy morning sleep disturbance
i found the location very convenient. the metro station was close. the in-room nespresso machine allowed for a quick coffee each morning. i did appreciate that it was helpful for me.
my room was next to some staff rooms. the staff would come and go early. it was very noisy in the morning. i couldn't sleep then.

room view noisy staff
the room was beautiful and large (more like a 4-star hotel) and breakfast offered a wide choice.
Room 102 at the back had no view and was next to staff rooms. Staff came and went from 6 am, it was very noisy and prevented sleeping in.

a mixed bag..
persistent noise cold eggs
The location was decent enough. It was close to some things.
My room faced an inner courtyard and the noise from the service areas was persistent. starting early in the morning, i heard clattering and staff conversations, so sleeping in was a joke. the breakfast setup was lacking. They ran out of filter coffee quite early and the scrambled eggs were often cold.. it seemed the staff was more interested in avoiding eye contact than refilling the buffet.
